If you happen to stay in dublin hotels, cardiff hotels, leeds hotels or anywhere else in Ireland or United Kingdom, you can surely find famous and good tattoo shops with the designs of your choice.

If you’re in United Kingdom, you can visit some studios within the country like in Liverpool, Herts, and Birmingham. They maintain high standard of tattoing throughout their history and some should have been known to different countries.

There are also several studio in Dublin that handles tribal, celtic, polynesian, old school and protrait to name a few. There are shops also in Cardiff where they handles body arts that were implicitly erotic and certain motifs were used to signify a person’s fertility, love or sexuality.

Are you Insured?

Anyone who’s willing to get a tattoo has the risk of acquiring diseases from equipment used or reactions of tattoo to the skin or body. And having such health problems isn’t going to help you anyhow. Before getting yourself into something that might get you the chance of getting sick or into trouble for that matter, then you’ve got to have some plans beforehand. Getting an insurance will do. Though you have lots of options but I can attest to it that you can Save Money on Insurance.

As much as I love ART, my life is still the most important thing to me. And as much as I wanted to get the tattoo of my desired designs, I need to get myself a Cash Back Life Insurance. Why so? Of course, I do not want to dement without getting insured. A friend of mine mentioned that I should not worry about this insurance-thingy since I am currently working in a good company and commonly, they provide Employee Benefit Package. I’ve got to check it out and see if I can get all the assurance I need. I am so excited to get a new tattoo. It’ll be the coolest thing ever!

So why doubt? Get yourself insured… Why not?

Tattooed on my MIND

Baby you’ll soon forget about all,
or maybe you’ll miss it like I do.
One thing’s for sure I’m on a doubt, spend too much time thinkin’ of you

chorus
And I can’t get you out of my dreams
Now I know that you’re the dangerous kind
And your smile is tattooed on my mind
And I can’t get you out of my dreams

Don’t wanna write,
I don’t wanna call,
I would not know what to say
It should be you
That’s how I want it to be
Tell me you feel the same way

chorus
And I can’t get you out of my dreams
Now know that you’re a danger first kind
And your smile is tattooed on my mind
And I can’t get you out of my dreams…oh!

Oh, Yesterday, I was feelin’ safe, oh
All I do today is tryin’ to be BRAVE
and no melody can seem to suit my mind…
and now I curse you for being so sweet and so kind

chorus
And I can’t get you out of my dreams
Now I know that you’re a dangerous kind
And your face is tattooed on my mind
And I can’t get you out of my dreams..

Yes I know you’re tattooed
On my mind you’re tattooed

You can acquire disease from Tattooing

Most common disease that is acquired from tattooing is Hepatitis B and HIV. You should consider tattoo shops with autoclave and complete sterilization process of surgical equipments of all kinds. This process uses heat and pressure to clean tubes that holds the tattooing needles. Be sure that they practice single use of needles. These basics, plus the blood work safety knowledge of tattoo artists, you can assure to have clean and safe tattoo experience.

There has already been dozen or so reported on HIV transmitted through tattoos in jail, but none with professional tattooing.

Hepatitis B is much harder to kill and easier to transmit. A basic accidental stick from a contaminated needle can generally transmit Hepatitis B. All clean needles that accidentally stick someone must be properly disposed and should not be used. Hepatitis B can also transmit through cross contamination of ink, dirty equipment and work area. These are not the only disease possible to be contaminated. There are about twenty other diseases like syphilis and tuberculosis.

This serves as a warning to all people planning to get a tattoo. If unsafe practice is apparent, please take time to think whether to risk your health or take time to find professional artists with clean environment.

what if i get a tattoo?

Well, of course there are things you need to carefully consider. Tattooing is a painful process, and tattoos are expensive to remove. So, if you will have to decide to have a tattoo, think twice or thrice or many times. ‘Coz if you remove it, there will always be a scar. And you may not want it.

Unlike trends, which come and go, tattoo lasts forever. Go ask Johnny Depp or Angelina Jolie. They may have something to say..emoticon

To start with, you first need to go to a qualified professional ‘coz home made tattoos may not be as satisfying or safe as what you may have thought.

When choosing a tattoo artist you should make sure of the following: that the tattoo parlor uses new sterile equipment for each client, or thoroughly cleans and sterilizes equipment, follows standard precautions to reduce risks of infections, the tattoo artist must have credentials, license and references, and tattoo parlor needs to be clean, safe and professional.

And if you get a new tattoo it generally requires some careful attention. It is an open wound until it heals so you have to make sure you follow the advice of the tattoo artist about how to best care for the area.

You or the artist will usually apply an ointment or product especially made for tattoos, and then cover it. After an hour or two the tattoo should be washed with warm soapy water, and patted dry with a clean towel. You must not rub over the tattoo. Lightly apply the ointment again and cover the tattoo. These processes must be repeated daily for about a week. You should not soak your tattoo. So, this means no pool, seawater or baths. Do not also expose your tattoo to direct sunlight for this period either. During its healing process, you need to put sunscreen on it each time it is being exposed ‘coz the sun will likely to drain the color over time, and the tattooed area could be more susceptible to harmful rays. During the time, you may experience your tattoo to leak some fluids, and may become itchy, but it will actually peel. This is normal, but make sure that you don’t scratch the tattoo or pick at the scabs ‘coz this will cause damage to the tattoo.

And lastly, if the skin around the tattooed area becomes very red, swollen or tender, this can mean that the area is infected. So? You need to go to a doctor, as you might need antibiotic treatment before it can cause you any skin damage or pain.

Still want to get a tattoo? Now, you decide… gud luck. emoticon

In Western culture tattoos are something associated with people on the edge of society. And has been part of the culture.

It may also symbolize recognition.

More people these days seem to have tattoos, though it still carries some risks. In the early 90’s it became more socially acceptable. It also became popular to criminals and restrained negative image.

Some reasons why people tend to get tattoo are: for cultural reasons like coming of age or rites of passage, to express individuality, indicate membership in a particular group, make a statement, establish permanent reminder of an event or loved ones, make body pleasing to their eye, or simply just to annoy parents…

Getting tattoo still puts you at risks on serious infectious disease like hepatitis C or B, HIV or tetanus, skin infections like impetigo, dermatitis, eczema, allergic reactions, keloids, or distress after getting a tattoo.
